Held on 15 November 2025 at the Women’s Museum Dubai, the event brought together museum professionals, researchers, and ethics specialists from around the world to discuss themes including women and youth empowerment following ethical museum practice.
The programme featured three engaging sessions:
- Session 1: The Role of Women in Museum Empowerment – Highlighting women’s voices and leadership in museum contexts.
- Session 2: Investing in Our Youth: A Tool of Museum Empowerment – Exploring youth engagement, inclusivity, and ethical education in museums.
- Session 3: Ethical Dilemmas in Museum Practice – Addressing mediation, gender narratives, and diversity in museum governance and exhibitions.
The day concluded with the Committee’s official meeting, during which the new IC Ethics Board (2025–2028) was elected. Participants also enjoyed a guided tour of the Women’s Museum Dubai.
We thank all speakers, moderators, participants, and partners for their contributions to a thoughtful and inspiring day of discussions, exchange, and collaboration.
